The farmer, Hans Raj Dua, has developed most of his energy for his water pump with the attachment of his gas pump, which he has dug on thousands of government initiatives across India.
The basic gas quintet consists of a drum with an outlet and inlet.

Cow dung and other farm water are mixed with sewage water and poured into the pit. The fermentation mixture produces a combustible gas that is stored in a tank and is used primarily for cooking purposes. Sediment makes excellent organic fertilizer.

This gas generator is known as Gobar Gas Plant, which means Gobar in Hindi.
Apart from LPG, Mr. Dua used water from his gas plant to take water from a well from his diesel engine for Rs. Dung has developed a device that can be used for gas use.

A carburetor that he designed and patented 20 percent diesel fuel with 80 percent diesel and fuels a suitable engine.

"We never thought that ordinary cow dung gas could be an alternative to electricity and oil," said an official from Chandigarh, the capital of Haryana. "It's ridiculously simple, but the benefits are so vast that it's beyond our imagination."

Mr. Dua's plant is small, with a tank capacity of 150 cubic feet. Nevertheless, it provides them with five acres of energy and enough manure to pump water for irrigation.

A large dung gas plant with a capacity of 100,000 cubic feet is just a few miles from the tions under construction in Landing. It will be used to run regular diesel generators.

The Haryana state government has so far advanced 1 million farmers to set up dung gas plants. The state already has 2,500 plants, which provide gas for cooking and lighting. Officials said an additional loan of 54 million would be given in the next few months. At least 10.000 gas plants will be set up in this period. An official said.
